Meet the Salon Staff
Stylists
 Jackie
Smith, Salon Manager
Jackie has more than 10 years of experience in the salon
industry, 15 years of which she owned and operated her own
salon. She is licensed in Minnesota, Illinois, Arkansas, and
Arizona, and specializes in a variety of cutting techniques
as well as coloring and perms. Her product of choice
includes Redkin and Alphaprof. In her spare time, the
Minnesota native enjoys reading, cars and Harley’s.
 Betty
Desser
Betty, originally from Illinois and Iowa, moved to Michigan
more than a decade ago and has 9 years’ experience in the
beauty industry. She received training from the John
Casablancas Modeling School and
continues education through various hair conventions. Her
product of choice is Renbow for color and Soma for hair
care. Patty specializes in
customized hair coloring, foiling and perming, as well as
several cutting techniques,
including shears, clippers and texturizers. She is also
certified in makeup application and strives to help each
client look and feel their best. When not at the salon,
Betty enjoys golfing, running and traveling.
 Sally
Gorbon
Sally, a California native, has more than 6 years’
experience in the beauty industry under her belt. Formally
trained at Gary Gerard’s Advanced Training and ABBA Hair
Design Advanced Training in San Francisco, Sally is a
certified colorist and specializes in shears, razor,
clippers and texturizers. Her product of choice is Kuene. In
her spare time, Sally raises miniature horses.
 Jeanie
Audry
With more than 18 years’ experience, Jeanie Audry is known
as a master in razor cuts, though
he specializes in a variety of
cutting techniques, coloring and perms. Prior to joining she
owned and operated a salon in a suburb of
Chicago for 10 years. Originally from France, Jeanie Audry
received training at the Ecole de Haute Coiffure, Parisienne
and held an apprenticeship at Henri Martineau (Meilleur
Ouvrier de France). Her product of choice includes Kydra,
Subtil Crème (Phyto). When she’s not at the salon, she
enjoys antiquing, gardening and spending time with family.
 Elizabeth
Marcus
Elizabeth brings 40 years’ experience. Originally from Salt
Lake City, Utah, she holds licenses in Utah, Florida and
Michigan and has served integral roles in several fashion
shows. Her product of choice includes Tressa Colorauge and
Framesi Haircolor. In addition to being a specialist in
color and updo’s, Elizabeth is skilled in a variety of
cutting techniques including, shears, razor, clippers and
texturizers. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, spiritual
studies of all areas (some clients call her the hair
whisper) and spending time with her horses.
 Mark
Stein
Mark was born in Colina, Mexico and raised in Queretaro,
Mexico. After moving to the U.S. he
attended the International Academy
of Hair Design in Florida and now has more than 30 years’
experience under his belt. Mark specializes in color, hair
extensions and locs, as well as a variety of cutting
techniques including, shears, razors, clippers and
texturizers. His product of choice is Goldwell Purology and
Loma. In his spare time, Mark is an aspiring artist.
 Kimmy
Marks
With more than 13 years’ experience in the salon industry,
Kimmy has developed expertise in color and eyelash
extensions, as well as various cutting techniques including
shears and clippers. Matrix is her product of choice. She
has lived in Michigan for the past 16 years and when she’s
not at the salon, Kimmy enjoys arts and crafts.

 Carmen
Collins
Originally from Yerevan, Armenia, Carmen brings 42 years’
cosmetology experience. She was trained at Repechage in
Europe and specializes in micro-dermabrasion, facials, body
waxing, eyelash/eyebrow tinting, and nails, pedicures. Her
product of choice includes Tammy Taylor, Creative, OPI,
Premium, organic products and seaweed. For skincare she
prefers Repechage and Dermalogica. In her spare time, Carmen
enjoys cooking, art, and spending time with family and
friends.
Nail Technicians
 Diane
Selette
Diane, originally from Vietnam, has 10 years of experience
in the beauty industry. She received her training at
California Cosmo. Her product of choice includes, Tammy
Taylor, Brisa and Arcylic. Diane specializes in a variety of
nail services including, acrylic, pink and white gel,
decorative nail applications, and pedicures. When she’s not
at the salon she enjoys spending time with her five
children, dog
and parakeet
